I’m super excited that one of my all time favourite high street fashion stores, Zara, is opening a Zara Home store in Leeds. I was minding my own business strolling down Briggate yesterday and I spotted a ‘coming soon’ sign, so I had to take a snap and Tweet about it right away. I’d not heard anything about it on social media or in any of the local publications so I was totally surprised. Of course I can’t keep this new found information to myself, hence sharing this amazing news on my blog to get the word out.
So far, with my talented detective skills – AKA a lot of Googling – I’ve found out that there will be two floors to this beautiful home store (ground and first floor), it’s going to be practically across the road from the current Zara clothing store on the high street and it’s due to open around March 2016 – so fairly soon!
If you haven’t heard of Zara Home or given the website a look, then I suggest you do. But wait until after pay day, which for me is today – hoorah! As you will want to buy everything.
H&M Home and Zara Home have really upped their interior game recently rivaling the likes of TKMaxx and Next Home with their trend setting style, must have accessories and affordable prices. I mean who wouldn’t lust after a bedroom come on-suite in what looks like a Spanish stately home like this?
After taking a look at the Zara website make sure you check out the SS16 campaign it’s absolutely stunning. The designers appear to have taken inspiration from the Willow pattern China themed plates (which fondly reminds me of my nana) and I love how unfinished and rustic the set is for this new minimal collection. I am in love with these blue hues and the combination of pattern and block colours sticking to just blue, white and neutral shades.
I’m also a complete sucker for home fragrances so these smellies would be right up my street and look at the pretty packaging, it matches the bedding!
I wish I could have a beautifully sparse dressing room like this too…
Oh and a double sink and chandeliers in the bathroom is every girls dream right?
I’m also really enjoying how summery these pictures are, these last few days have been so much warmer it’s actually making me hopeful that spring will eventually come to save us soon! The green plants look lush against the patterned table cloth and I love the way they have dressed the table in mis-match patterns and prints using the same deep blue.
And finally, I love this beautiful shot so much. I can just imagine this being shot at a Downton Abbey style location having brunch over looking the rolling hills. It actually looks strangely similar to the view from Harewood House. We can dream about the setting, but the accessories could totally be ours – I’ve always wanted a toast holder!
Are you lusting after any of the Zara Home collection? Is anyone else as excited as I am to go check the store out in March? Let me know 🙂
