White Elephant Teapot

I just had to do a little post on my adorable elephant teapot! Anyone who knows me knows I love elephants. I have elephant notepads, elephant ornaments, elephant mugs, elephant socks, elephant ring holders, elephant artwork, elephant candles (you get the idea)… and now my very own elephant teapot. I got mine from a really cute little café, after being served my casual Sunday afternoon tea in one, so I asked where I could get one from and they sold me one of theirs. But I have now discovered you can actually get them from Tesco, among other cute gift…

Green parka hood up

Following my recent spending outburst I stumbled onto the Zara website, accidentally on purpose, and managed to bag this grungy green military style parka jacket in the sale – an absolute bargain at £29.99. I love the detail on this coat, the pockets, the gold zips, the leather toggles and the writing on the back. I really like that this jacket has a hood, (hurrah) I have a really bad habit of buying coats with no hoods – not great when you get caught out in the rain with no umbrella! You can also cinch the waist in if you…

Celebrities wearing dungarees

It always helps when confirming a new wardrobe decision to check out what the celebs are wearing. I have been a secret dungarees fan for a while but I’ve not been quite sure how to pull it off. But this season denim has been majorly trending in all the glossies, so I am happy to finally take the plunge and admit that I am going to go ahead and buy some dungarees. My favourite thing about dungarees is how they can look so casual and effortless but at the same time they are smart and sophisticated! I mean if I…

H&M t-shitrs, boots, shoes

So after far to long, I finally caved in. I ended up on the H&M website at half 11 one night and 15 minutes later I had spend £155 – oops. I am loving H&M at the moment I could honestly buy all the clothes in the shop! My favourites from this mini haul are the chunky boots, which are so comfy (even if they do make me 6ft) and the pointy flats, although when I look down at my feet I do feel conscious that I resemble a clown – but I have been assured they don’t look as boaty…

blonde hair

…well sort of! For a while I had been toying with the idea of going darker with my hair. I always perv on Lauren Conrad’s gorgeous tousled blonde biscuity locks and after watching the last two series of The Secret Diary of a Call Girl I became fixated with Billie Piper and her hair colour, so my decision was made! Of course you can’t just walk into a hairdressers with an idea in your head, you need to do some serious homework/Pintersting/obsessively collecting pictures every time a new blonde actress, model, blogger appears on your Twitter or Instagram feed. So during…

Etsy notepad

I find it so hard to concentrate or put my mind to anything when my room is messy or cluttered. Every week I force myself to organise my life and I always end up saying to myself, ‘just stay on top of it, put things straight back where they belong and it won’t get like this again’. Then Monday night arrives, I throw my clothes onto the floor after a draining day at work, I leave my make up scattered all over my dressing table, abandon my plan to hoover and hey presto, mid week it looks like a bomb has…

Work wear wish list

I actually can’t believe we are only one week into February and already I am counting my pennies until payday. I am so over due a wardrobe update its unreal, I haven’t actually purchased a new item of clothing in 2015 – surely this is a crime of some sort!? Oh how my priorities have changed! Next payday though I am one hundred per cent marching straight into Zara and buying this gorgeous cut out dress… and the waist coat… and maybe the earrings… nah maybe not the earrings. I love Zara so much it’s my all time favourite high street shop,…

yellow m&s jacket

Every time I wear this neon yellow baby I get comments from, ‘oh wow I love the colour’ or ‘your coat really stands out – where’s it from?’ to ‘bloody ‘ell I won’t miss you in that, are you stewarding this afternoon or something?’. The point is I can’t wear it without people feeling the need to discuss it, which I think, can only be a good thing! After a recent trip to London I got a few snaps that I thought I could share. Coat: M&S  Jumper: Zara  Trousers: Topshop The best thing about this coat is that it was only £59, which…
